Ever wondered how people get their video footage to look cinematic, like in the movies? It’s a lot easier than you think!
There are 2 things that you have to remember:
24 Frames Per Second
If you shoot any higher than this, it won’t look cinematic. Look through your menu options in your camera for the video quality and set it to 24fps High Quality, or 1080P. This will give your slow-motion and screen action that cinematic look that you see in the movie theatres.
You have to color grade your video before exporting. This will allow you to adjust the lighting down or up in areas that were too bright or too dim during the shooting process. This is not done in camera like the FPS setting. This is done in your video editing software.
